    Federal Vaccine Response

U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Angela Lacek, a Port Huron, Michigan, native and chief nurse assigned to the 335th Expeditionary Medical Operations Squadron, takes a quick break from her duties providing vaccinations at the state-led, federally supported Medgar Evers College Community Vaccination Center in Brooklyn, New York, on March 22, 2021. Lacek is deployed from the 42nd Medical Group out of Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, and is one of approximately 140 Airmen across 28 installations deployed to the Medgar Evers College CVC in support of U.S. Army North’s COVID-19 response efforts. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
