Alabama Guardsmen began their mission to vaccinate residents of 24 rural Alabama counties in Andalusia, Ala. The team provided medical screening, documentation and, critically, the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to local Covington County residents on March 23rd at the Kiwanis Community Center. Guardsmen said they plan to return in three weeks to offer the second dose.
