New York, NY, March 13, 2021—The Community Vaccination Center at York College in Queens recently administered their 50,000th vaccination. The Pfizer vaccine has to be kept at very cold temperatures in a special refrigeration unit. FEMA is working with state, local, tribal and territorial governments on the critical need to open vaccine centers that ensure underserved populations have access to vaccines. K.C. Wilsey/FEMA
