210311-N-XT033-1007 IWAKUNI, Japan (March 11, 2021) Equipment Operator 1st Class Jesse Meyer, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 uses a D6K Dozer to push excess materials into a stockpile. NMCB-4 is conducting the Landfill Cap and Closure Project to mitigate airstrikes on U.S. and Japanese aircraft. NMCB-4 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and the United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations.
