Equipment Operator 1st Class Jesse Meyer from Kansas, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 utilizing a Motor Grader graded the top soil to create an access road for the landfill project. NMCB-4 is conducting a Landfill Cap and Closure Project to mitigate airstrikes on U.S. and Japanese aircraft. NMCB-4 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and the United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian Assistance and disaster relief operations.
