    Federal Vaccine Response

U.S. Army Capt. Brian Caston, a Kingsport, Tennessee, native and physician’s assistant with 1stt Squadron, 75th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), talks with a reporter from the local NBC affiliate station March 12, 2021, in Cleveland. Caston’s job while in Cleveland will be working with a team of physician’s assistants from throughout the brigade to oversee administration of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Community Vaccination Center scheduled to open in a few days. Strike Soldiers are deployed from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, in support of Department of Defense federal vaccine response operations. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
