PRINCE SULTAN AIR BASE, KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA – Airmen from the 378th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron conducted a Forward Area Refueling Point refueling of an Army Task Force Javelin UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter March 5, 2021, at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The FARP was conducted using Air Force Fuels Operational Readiness Equipment operated by Airmen who were certified to perform a FARP on an Army Blackhawk. A FARP allows TF-Javelin’s medivac helicopters to return to their sometimes life-saving missions three times faster than it would usually take with a standard refuel.
