A 509th Maintenance Group Airman prepares a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber for takeoff from Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, March 15, 2021, in support of a Bomber Task Force mission. The B-2 Spirit can deliver large payloads of percision nuclear or conventional ordnance over long distance, and provides the ability to rapidly project military power across the globe. Its participation in recurring Bomber Task Force missions routinely and visibly demonstrates commitment to our allies and enhances interoperability during joint and coalition operations and exercises.
