A member of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 12, Platoon 12-0-1, is recovered by an MH-60S helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26 during a live demolition maneuver. EODMU-12 is assigned to Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.1, providing mine countermeasures, explosive ordinance disposal, salvage-diving, counter-terrorism, and force protection in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
