U.S. Navy sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 12, Platoon 12-0-1, and civilian mariners launch and recover a rigid hull inflatable boat from the well deck of Afloat Forward Staging Base (Interim) Ship USS Ponce (ASFB(I) 15). EODMU-12 is assigned to Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.1, providing mine countermeasures, explosive ordinance disposal, salvage-diving, counter-terrorism, and force protection in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
