A U.S. Marine Corps M40A6 is staged on a sniper live-fire range in Setermoen, Norway, March 2, 2021. Marines with Marine Rotational Force Europe 21.1 (MRF-E), Marine Forces Europe and Africa, conducted an integrated live-fire sniper training event with scout snipers from Force Reconnaissance Detachment 21.1 and Norwegian partners. MRF-E focuses on regional engagements throughout Europe by conducting various exercises, arctic cold-weather and mountain warfare training, and military-to-military engagements, which enhance overall interoperability of the U.S. Marine Corps with allies and partners.
