A reconnaissance Marine with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), fires an M4 assault rifle during a moving drill aboard dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42), in the Philippine Sea, Feb. 25, 2021. These drills train Marines to be able to engage targets while on the move. The 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) is operating aboard ships of Amphibious Squadron 11 in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
