Erin Adelmann, an active-duty medical oncology nurse from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland, and 1st Lt. Abigail Santora, an active-duty medical surgical nurse from Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas, prepare doses of the COVID vaccine at the Fair Park Community Vaccination Center (CVC) in Dallas, on March 8, 2021. During this Women’s History Month, Santora leads her team of fellow U.S. Army Medical Command nurses in preparing the vaccines for distribution to the vaccination lanes at the CVC.
