U.S. Army Central Command Deputy Commanding General, Operations, Maj. Gen. Chris Field visits Task Force Spartan’s forward command at the Joint Training Center in Jordan, to receive a mission overview from the Officer in Charge, Col. Christopher Fletcher, March 2. TF Spartan-Jordan, has been strengthening the U.S and Jordanian military relations through bilateral training events, exercises, and hosting symposiums for open dialogue of lessons learned/ best practices. Through Operation Spartan Shield (OSS), Task Force Spartan maintains a U.S. military posture in Southwest Asia sufficient to strengthen our defense relationships and build partner capacity.
