The commanding general of the Army Reserve's 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Brig. Gen. Justin Swanson, places the black oak leaf cluster on Lt. Col. David Beetham, the 310th ESC's command chaplain at Beetham's March 1, 2021 informal promotion ceremony at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. In his remarks afterwards, Swanson told Beetham that with this promotion is now a leader of leaders. Soldiers of the 310th ESC deployed to Kuwait to staff the 1st Theater Sustainment Command's operational command post, or 1st TSC-OCP.
