Weber was on hand to highlight the voluntary mass vaccination event during a visit by Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III to Essex. The event was part of the Navy's ongoing work to distribute the vaccine in accordance with the Department of Defense's prioritized schema to protect the health and readiness of service members.
