US Navy and a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force volunteer worked alongside personnel from Uruma City Heshikiya District Community Center in the path clearing. The on-base tomb path clearing called “jungle attack” is a regularly conducted community service project which maintains accessibility for old family tombs on White Beach.
