Friends, family and colleagues joined together to celebrate with Chaplain, Capt. Daniel R. Moen, battalion chaplain, 4th Special Troops Battalion, 4th Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, for his promotion to Major 10 Feb. during a ceremony held in the Soldiers’ Memorial Chapel on Fort Carson, Colorado. Maj. Moen was promoted by his wife, Sasha and his two daughters. His daughters also read notes they wrote for their father, describing their military lives. Lt. Col. Travis W. Hill Sr., commander, 4STB presented Maj. Moen with a caricature drawn by Moen’s younger brother, an artist for Disney Studios. (U.S. Army photos by Sgt.
