Antonio Jimenez, 372nd Training Squadron, Detachment 25, F-35A Lightning II Egress Systems instructor, demonstrates how to move the flexible linear shaped charge (FLSC) used for the F-35A Egress FLSC Interim Transition Training course at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Feb. 3, 2021. Egress students were taught how to install the FLSC responsible for the pilot’s safe ejection from the aircraft in case of an emergency.
