YOKOSUKA, Japan (Jan. 30, 2021) – Commanding Officer of U.S. 7th Fleet flagship, USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) Capt. Craig C. Sicola, from Dallas, receives his second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, as part of the DoD’s phased vaccine rollout for voluntary inoculations across the fleet, including 7th Fleet's Forward Deployed Naval Forces (FDNF). Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
