(Feb. 4, 2021) Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Zachary Rogers, a native of Castle Rock, Colo, a Navy reserve Sailor from Navy Operation Support Center Fort Carson, Colo., and assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) 11, mounts a .50 cal. machine gun on a high mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicle during security convoy training provided by Maritime Expeditionary Security Group (MESG) 1 Training Evaluation Unit. The Maritime Expeditionary Security Force is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security in the coastal and inland waterways.
