Marines attach a 4,000 pound concrete block to a CH-53E Super Stallion at Marine Corps Outlying Field Camp Davis, North Carolina, Feb. 3, 2021. Marines with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 464 (HMH-464) utilized their aircraft to perform external lifting in order to enhance their skills and proficiency with cargo movement and operations. The CH-53E was designed for transporting up to 30,000 pounds of cargo, and can carry externally slung loads up to 36,000 pounds.
