An article was written about the first Black student admitted in a San Antonio college that corrected an error. Charles Anderson, retired U.S. Air Force Master Sgt., set the record straight as the real first Black student that was denied the opportunity. The U.S. Air Force joins the millions of Americans celebrating Black History Month 2021 by honoring the history of African Americans in the military and considering ways to move forward in unity for the future.
