U.S. service members and the Dominican Republic armed forces participate in a virtual non-commissioned officer leadership development subject matter expert exchange at U.S. Southern Command in Miami, Florida, Jan. 27, 2021. The Puerto Rican National Guard hosted the non-commissioned officer leadership development subject matter expert exchange and the engagement included the Dominican Republic armed forces, 12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern), Inter-American Air Force Academy and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South. The purpose of the exchange was to discuss the enlisted force structure, leadership, roles, professional military education, promotions, evaluation processes, performance feedback, and career development for all of the forces involved.
