Alaska National Guard Airmen and Soldiers unload equipment at the National Guard Armory on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Jan. 25, 2021, after returning from the District of Columbia in support of the 59th Presidential Inauguration. Personnel from the Alaska National Guard joined Guard members from every state, territory, and the District of Columbia to assist with the inauguration, Jan. 20. Upon arrival, all Guardsmen were given COVID-19 tests to ensure all state, local, and installation COVID-19 protocols were being followed. Afterwards, the Guardsmen were placed on 10 days of restricted movement to reduce risk of COVID transmission. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Edward Eagerton)
