Staff Sgt. Mark A. Maczuga, optometry team non-commissioned officer in charge, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 82nd Sustainment Brigade, inserts a breathing tube,which hooks up to an oxygen tank, into the casualty's airway while Spc. Season J. Westbrook, medic for Task Force Iron Claw, attached to 1st Brigade, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, supervises and monitors the patient's current breathing repetitions. Both Soldiers went through emergency medical technician-refresher course held at the Jameson Combat Medic Taining Center, Oct. 11.
