Jeffery Vance, the command sergeant major for the 640th Special Troops Battalion, and a native of Hillsboro, Ohio, lights a white candle at the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) and 640th STB Non-commissioned Officer Corps induction ceremony at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Nov. 2. The lighting of the white candle was in honor of those who gave their lives for this country.
