Pallets of mail are loaded onto a Navy Landing Craft, Air-Cushion hovercraft, or LCAC, on a beach in Djibouti, Aug. 16, 2012. The mail is part of a scheduled delivery for Marines and Sailors of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group aboard the USS New York. The 24th MEU and Iwo Jima ARG are deployed in support of theater reserve and crisis response throughout the U.S. Central and Africa Commands in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
