Illinois Army National Guard Soldiers participate in training provided by the Illinois State Police at Camp Lincoln, Springfield, Illinois Jan. 16. Approximately 250 Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 123rd Field Artillery Regiment, based in Milan, Illinois, with subordinate units in Springfield and Galesburg, were activated by Illinois Governor JB Pritzker in response to warnings by the Federal Bureau of Investigations regarding threats to state capitols in the days leading up to the 59th Presidential Inauguration.
