Zachary Korstange, a radio operator with 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Command Element S-6, and Newport News, Virginia native, tests a PRC-117G in front of a light tactical all-terrain vehicle (MZRZ) on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 14, 2020. The use of the MZRZ enhances the mobility of communication capabilities. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
