U.S. Navy sailors man a phone-and-distance line during a replenishment-at-sea with Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7), aboard guided-missile frigate USS Taylor (FFG 50). Taylor is assigned to Commander, NATO Task Force 508 supporting Operation Ocean Shield, maritime interception operations and counter-piracy missions in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Carl Brashear is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 53 providing fuel and supplies to U.S. Navy and coalition ships in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
