Malakai Cameron Price was welcomed into the world at 12:50 a.m. on January 01, 2021 by his proud parents Lance Cpl. Cameron Price and Cpl. Precious Price.
Malakai weighed 6 pounds, 15.5 ounces and measured at 20.9 inches in length. Malakai is the first child for the couple who are both stationed at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.
“As soon as we found out his due date was on the first, it was so exciting...and as soon as I heard his cry and saw him, they told me he was the first baby born. I couldn’t believe it,” said Precious. “I was literally crying and laughing at the same time.”
Mrs. Amy Galati-Romanowski, president of the Naval Officers’ Spouses Club, presented the family with gifts donated by the organization. NMCCL congratulates the family on the birth of their baby and wishes them a safe and happy 2021.
