MIHAIL KOGALNICEANU, Romania – Spc. Joshua Smith, Area Support Group-Black Sea, Religious Affairs non-commissioned officer in charge, Alabama National Guard, hangs a tag with names of children on a Christmas tree that was set up here as part of the Salvation Army Angel Tree project that provided hundreds of gifts for Romanian children. Spc. Smith uses his position with the Religious Support Team to support both the Soldiers on base and people in need from the local community, and by doing so, helps the U.S. Army accomplish its mission and strengthens relationships with host nations.
