This product was created in response to a rising number of DUI incidents at the command. It was posted on social media with the hope to inform Sailors and civilians about the costs, ballparked, not included in a DUI conviction. The blurred background is of a traffic stop. The glass of alcohol was used with the dollar bill to illustrate the extra cost of a DUI. The coaster was a manipulation of the command seal and a symbolistic representation of the involvement of the Navy in a Sailor’s actions. The text was also used as a graphical element with the distressed effect, mimicking that of a popular police television show.
