Cpl. Sherrell Marques, a meteorology and oceanography analyst forecaster with 1st Intelligence Battalion, participates in a balloon popping contest during the battalion’s Beach Bash at the Del Mar Beach Resort, Camp Pendleton, Calif., Aug. 16. The Marines weren’t allowed to lock arms or use any part of their body other than their back to pop the balloons. The contest winner received a prize and points for their team in the overall competition.
