An 8th Fighter Wing F-16 Fighting Falcon performs an engine run in a hush house on the flightline at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Nov. 25, 2020. 8th FW maintainers from both the 80th and 35th Aircraft Maintenance Units conducted engine run tests, with the supervision of an instructor, to obtain their certification. This process consisted of the Airman operating the engine and the jet fuel starter where they run the engine at minimum, or idle, then to afterburner and full afterburner.
