The medical crew assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron and the Flight crew assigned to the 40th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, assist injured personnel onto the C-130 for transport. The 40th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron and the 379th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, both out of Al Udied Air Base, Qatar, work together as a cohesive team to travel around the area of responsibility and pick up injured personnel and transport them to their next destination. The medical team on board works to ensure the care and safety of their injured until they are delivered into the care of medical professionals at the receiving base while the flight crew works to ensure the safety of all on board until they arrive at their final destination.
