After the conclusion of the PANAMAX exercise, Brig. Gen. Orlando Salinas, U.S. Army South Deputy Commander, presents an award to a Salvodoran military officer Aug. 16 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. PANAMAX is an annual U.S. Army South and U.S. Southern Command-sponsored multinational exercise series that focuses on ensuring the defense of the Panama Canal.
