Tony Perez during a ceremony onboard Naval Air Station North Island Dec.16. Singer prevented a potential suicide on the Coronado Bay Bridge Aug. 7, when a distressed man attempted to jump from the bridge. The award honors America’s junior enlisted service members who represent the standards and values of their respective branch of service as demonstrated through a specific act of heroism or valor.
