Ryan Lemon, son of Pfc. Rick Lemon, 3rd Squadron, 38th Cavalry Regiment, completes as many push-ups as he can, while his team cheers him on, during the modified Army Physical Fitness Test portion of the unit's Family Spur Ride Aug. 9. The 3-38 Cav. hosted the Family Spur Ride in hopes of allowing Family members the opportunity to see what their Soldiers train for on a daily basis and creating a bonding experience for all those involved. Each team competed at several stations eventually earning their spurs, a longtime cavalry tradition.
