It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Time for our Pastoral Care Team to deliver Angel Tree Gifts!
The Angel Tree program has been a popular event amongst the staff here at NMCCL for the past five years. The program allows for Sailors and staff members to identify families in need and assist in getting children gifts during the holiday season.
According to Religious Program Specialist Second Class Joshua Deluca, this year’s program identified 150 boys and girls in need and our team collected over 600 toys.
“Requests were made from Sailors and Staff members here at the Medical Center, for families to enjoy a stress free Christmas," said Deluca.
The gifts will be distributed over the next couple weeks, just in time for the holidays.
