U.S. Navy Corpsmen with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) provide in-flight medical aid to a simulated casualty during En Route Care training as part of MEU Exercise at Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 8, 2020. En Route Care allows Navy Corpsman to give medical aid to patients while flying in aircraft. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
