201130-N-FD034-1031 OKINAWA, Japan (Nov. 30, 2020) Steelworker 3rd Class Justin Panelo, from Manteca, Calif., assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, uses a concrete float to smooth freshly-placed concrete for a civil engineering support equipment wash rack renovation project on board Camp Shields in Okinawa, Japan. NMCB-3 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
