Soldiers from the Alabama and Florida National Guards are ready to use a gurney to pick-up displaced victims who have fallen to the ground and unable to move outside of a relief center to get them medical treatment, food, water, and transport to non-contaminated areas during a simulated nuclear and radiological attack during the Vibrant Response 13 exercise. The Vibrant Response 13 exercise prepares a military specialized response force to assist local authorities in saving lives and relieving suffering following a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, or Nuclear (CBRN) incident.
