HMAS Ballarat (FFH 155), an Anzac-class frigate in the Royal Australian Navy, conducts a replenishment at sea with USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE 6). Ships that make up Military Sealift Command Far East’s Combat Logistics Force, including Amelia Earhart, routinely provide food, fuel, repair parts, ammunition, and other essential supplies to U.S. Navy and partner nations’ ships operating in the Indo-Pacific Region. U.S. 7th Fleet conducts forward-deployed naval operations in support of U.S. national interests in the Indo-Pacific area of operations.
