201125-N-TP832-1170 OKINAWA, Japan (Nov. 25, 2020) Steelworker Constructionman Dawson McCurdy, from Mobile, Ala., assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, uses a bull float to smooth freshly-placed concrete to support bleachers to modernize the main sports and training field on Camp Shields in Okinawa, Japan. NMCB-3 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
