Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Mike Mullen, departs the Korean national cemetery after laying a wreath at the monument of unknown student volunteer soldiers. The memorial is dedicated to a great number of young students who volunteered to fight at the outbreak of the Korean conflict in 1950. Only 48 sets of remains of these students were ever found and brought for burial in the cemetery in 1964.
