Airmen with the Michigan Air National Guard, assigned to Task Force 182, Michigan National Guard, check the information for the COVID-19 tests in Ottawa County November 2, 2020. The Airmen are supporting the state’s coronavirus response. They, along with one other performed COVID-19 tests for more than 290 citizens who came for the event.
“We have partnered with the National Guard on multiple community pop up testing sites,” said Jennifer Sorek, the public health emergency preparedness coordinator for the Ottawa County Department of Public Health. “They have really been the back bone to what we are doing and if it wasn’t for the Guard we wouldn’t be able to test our community.” (Photo by Michigan Army National Guard Staff Sgt.
