SAN ANTONIO - (Nov. 12, 2020) Navy Counselor 1st Class Molly DaCosta, of Ankeny, Iowa, a division leading petty officer assigned to Talent Acquisition Onboarding Center Alamo City, was recognized as Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) San Antonio’s Senior Sailor of the Year for Fiscal Year 2020 during a Change of Command Ceremony held at Warrior & Family Support Center on Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston. DaCosta, a 2005 graduate of Ankeny High School, joined the Navy in 2009 becoming a recruiter in 2015. “This means everything to me,” said DaCosta. “I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to represent my command.” NTAG San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
