U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Janson D. Boyles, the adjutant general of Mississippi, thanks Pam Presley Tolbert, a Gold Star Mother, for her participation and sacrifice following a Gold Star Family Memorial ceremony at Mississippi's Two Museums in Jackson, Miss., Nov. 10, 2020. Mrs. Tolbert lost her son, U.S. Marine Cpl. Michael “Brandon” Presley, on Dec. 14, 2005 after being wounded by a suicide bomber in Iraq. “It means everything to me that I’m able to be here to honor him.
